The best way to get in the nutrients that our bodies need is through whole, healthy food. Here is a list of 10 super nutrients and the food that will provide those nutrients.

  • Vitamin D - helps to combat almost every major form of disease including heart disease and cancer. Vitamin D is best from the sun, but you can also get vitamin D from the following foods: wild caught salmon, cod, egg yolks & white tuna
  • Vitamin C - helps support immunity. Vitamin C foods include red, yellow and green bell peppers, citrus fruits, strawberries, broccoli & kiwi
  • Folic Acid - helps with fetal development. Folic acid can be found in foods like cooked spinach, kidney beans, broccoli and asparagus
  • Selenium  - helps with thyroid health. Foods containing selenium include sardines, Brazil nuts, white tuna & skinless turkey breast
