The microbiome is the community of trillions of bacteria, fungi, and microbes that live in your gut, mouth, skin, lungs and more. These bacteria, fungi and microbes are far from being harmful. Most microbes are essential partners that help your body thrive. Together, they act like a "hidden organ" that influences your digestion, immunity, mood, and energy.
