Extreme Self-Care

Are you in need of Extreme Self-Care?

Many of us don't even know what that means. So let me explain.

Extreme self-care involves setting boundaries, prioritizing your needs, and taking a proactive role in your overall well-being - mentally, physically, and emotionally.

It's about becoming the best version of yourself by consistently showing up for yourself in ways that promote long-term health, happiness, and balance.

Mental Care = Physical Care: Stress, negative talk, and emotional struggles can directly affect your physical health, leading to issues like overeating, weight gain, fatigue, and even chronic illnesses. Extreme self-care includes mental self-care like mindfulness, journaling, and therapy.

Practice Mindful Eating: It's important to be present with food - slow down and truly enjoy the meal. This helps prevent overeating, enhances digestion, and fosters a healthier relationship with food.

Incorporate Movement: Exercise is a form of self-care, but it's not just about burning calories. It's about feeling good in your body, boosting mood, improving strength, and giving your body the energy it needs to thrive. Extreme self-care includes doing movement you enjoy and feel empowered by.

Be sure to Build Healthy Boundaries: It's okay to say "No" without guilt. Many women, especially those who have struggled with weight issues, often put others' needs ahead of their own. It's okay to say no to things that drain your energy, whether it's an unhealthy relationship, overwhelming work demands, or over-committing. Setting boundaries is a powerful act of self-care.

You can also set boundaries around food and exercise. It's not about restricting or overindulging - it's about finding a balance that supports long-term health.

Extreme self-care is also about Nourishing the Body from the Inside Out: Do this with balanced nutrition. Choose nourishing, nutrient-dense foods that support energy levels, mood, and overall health. This means focusing on balanced meals that include protein, healthy fats,  and complex carbohydrates.

Hydration is often overlooked, but is also key to self-care. Proper hydration affects skin health, energy levels, digestion, and metabolism. Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Finally, extreme self-care includes quality sleep because it directly impacts physical and mental health. Poor sleep can lead to weight gain, irritability, and a weakened immune system. Create a bedtime routine that promotes deep, restful sleep.

In addition to sleep, remember that recovery (especially if you are training hard) is just as important as working out. Overworking yourself without proper rest can lead to burnout, injuries, and a plateau in progress.

It's important to remember that extreme self-care is not a one-time fix, but a consistent practice that can lead to sustainable weight loss, health, and happiness.

Remember to...Take Care of You!

As a Functional Diagnostic Nutritional Practitioner, I run functional lab work to help identify HIDDEN stressors and dysfunctions that are downgrading health and creating or contributing toĀ Metabolic Chaosā„¢, which describes what's going on inside that is producing unwanted symptoms.

Once healing opportunities are identified through carefully selected labs and a thorough history, only then can individualized, time-honored natural protocols be recommended that will change how well the body functions. When improvements are made, true healing occurs.

I am opening up 5 coaching opportunities at the end of August, at the lowest cost possible.

I don't want you to miss this healing opportunity.
