Strategies to Clear the Brain Fog

brain fog Aug 30, 2022

Do you suffer from brain fog?

I used to and then I ditched the sugar.

Here are some strategies that will help clear the brain fog and get you started on thinking more clearly.

Ditch the addictive sugar - choose foods that are whole foods that can help to alleviate a sweet tooth, foods like fruits and sweet vegetables. Some of my favorites include organic Medjool dates, or fresh figs. You can also choose natural sugars that won't affect blood sugar balance, like Stevia, Monk fruit sugar and Xylitol.

Consider if you have a hormonal imbalance - hormonal imbalances, such as low thyroid function, adrenal insufficiency and chronic fatigue syndrome can all increase symptoms of brain fog.

Address any food allergies or food sensitivities - these foods can affect your gut, which in turn can affect brain function.

As you can see, there are a number of things that you can do to address brain fog and improve mental clarity. Remember to ditch the addictive sugar, address any hormonal imbalances or food allergies and sensitivities.
