This week marks my 2nd year anniversary as a health coach. Becoming a health coach is one of the best decisions that I ever made. Not just from a professional perspective, but also from a physical, mental and emotional perspective. Everything about it has changed my life.
So how is a Health Coach different?
A Health Coach believes in bio-inividuality, meaning that we don't believe there is one diet or one exercise program that fits everyone. We are all individuals and our bodies are made different and expect different things.
A Health Coach does not take the place of your Doctor or Primary Care Physician. A good health coach works with other health care professionals and supports their wellness plan for you.
A Health Coach believes in the "whole health" of their client, not just diet and exercise. A good health coach helps their client to understand the "whys" and helps identify the root causes of their client's health issues.
A good health coach is willing to walk beside their client on their health journey because they have been there themselves.
