Welcome to August!

Before we get into all the good stuff in August, let's review where we have been in July and the good topics that were shared. July's blog posts were about your health and what it means to be free from health issues. They were also about detoxing and gut health and finding ways to remove the toxins from your food, but also from your life.

Here's a recap of the main points that we covered:

  • Choose to eat to live, rather than living to eat
  • Let go of the "be all, do all" and notice your freedom
  • Try to purchase organic & local produce as much as possible to decrease toxins
  • Look for the five common toxins in your personal care products; parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, triclosan & sodium lauryl sulfate
  • Choose a daily routine that will help eliminate the toxins in your life:
    • Start the day with hydration
    • Take mental breaks throughout the day
    • Limit alcoholic beverages
    • Get adequate sleep

The critical part is taking action. Which one of the above main points will you incorporate into your goals for the month of August?

In August, we will talk all about sugar and the affects it has on the body.

Eliminating sugar in my diet was the most critical action step that I took to improve my health.
